The capacity to transform static pieces of hard steel into flowing, dynamic sculpture has always intrigued me.  My desire as an artist is to capture moments of intensity, challenge the instinct for survival, especially in my extreme sport and wildlife sculptures. Each work of art reflects a moment of commitment – a point of no return that could lead to the ultimate sacrifice.  High mountain skiing, ocean sailing or deer facing wolf in a fight for life – each piece tells its unique and powerful story.

Art should evoke emotion – like it, love it or hate it – all are fine with me!  Indifference would mean the piece is either incomplete or not the right one for the viewer.  As an artist, I find it immensely rewarding when people are moved by the very elements that inspire me to create.
